I downloaded Hand.Cannot.Erase. from Qobuz but I don't like the quality. I also downloaded S O H N within the same purchase and that is sounding much better.
Just to confirm; it appears to me the SW album is laid back, not really coming forward. Could it be my download? It reports as 24bit / 96KHz FLAC...

Frans... I downloaded my 24/96 copy of Hand.Cannot... from HD tracks, oddly when I scanned Qobuz for it I'm sure it wasn't available in 24/96 at the time - the reason why I went to HD Tracks. Anyway it is sounding very very good, no complaints at all. S O H N is a CD copy so can't compare 'eggs with eggs'.

Firstly thanks to Mike Trottman for a great promotion.
The Cains Trio (Taylor, Madison and Logan) opened the evening with a great set mainly from album "Stay on Board". Wonderful harmonies and they certainly bring a smile to your face. After recent appearance at C2C, they have a future here in UK. I hope they return soon from Alabama. LRB appearance would be amazing.
From young talent to the mature Bill Kirchen, a master of the Telecaster. Fantastic performance by the Bill Kirchen band.
To travel in time, with Bill, is a great experience ending up with an incredible interpretation of Dylan's "The Times They Are A Changing" original inspiration circa 1964.
Another great live night out.

PSB is really good! They played last year on paaspop here in the netherlands, and had some really nice tracks about the unique dutch event 'De elfstedentocht'. Apart from the music you need to see them performing live as they us a lot of video footage during the tracks.

Two tracks to play back to back, "Blackbirds" by Gretchen Peters from her New Album of the same name, and then "Blackbirds" track 5 on Ben Glover's great album "Atlantic". As co author he plays it differently but with a similar intensity. Then "Blackbird Reprise" from Getchen Peters finishes off the session nicely.
Just amazing, and I have been lucky enough to see them both play live recently.
Enjoy Chris

I have just been having a relaxed listen to this lot from the bottom up. It's amazing what Sooloos can do.

Here I have to admit, My System is not 'up to snuff' when it comes to Bass.
Uriah Heep Live at KOKO came into view as I browsed Tidal and having been at the Gig with two of my Brothers I am qualified to tell you that unless you have DSP 8000's and a bunch of subs in the worst bass ringing room in the world, you will not come close to the reality of the live sound. (This is not the Little Rabbit. Barn)
Having said that, I am so glad as I never want to be in such a loud room again, but the disc is great if your a fan of this stuff, even for some nostalgia.
They have captured the songs and the atmosphere brilliantly and I can control the levels.
If you are or ever were a fan, give it a go as for now, It's Free!!!! On tidal.
