It could be that having been in Vasaloppet mood last week breathing the Swedish air cross country skiing and not listened for a week either, or I am hallucinating but... what kinda snake oil has the download put in my system. My music sounds better than ever, I am sure.

Well maybe the hard powercycles after the install did something I was not aware of maybe? Anymore of these observations?

Cheers!

The problem I have with my system is still there. My dealer tested it and the problem is with in the MS200. The MS200 frequently stops playing music randomly.

As I understood the MS200 will be sent out to the distributor so he can check it out. The MS is still under warranty. The strange thing is still for me the fact that it behaves like this after the update. The system always worked flawlessly.

Hope I'll get it back soon cause it's the only endpoint I own at the moment till the 818v3 is launched.

Have you tried reserving the DHCP address in the router for the MS200 MAC address?

After this update, playback through the Mac's local zone is completely borked. My other zones using Meridian gear are fine. I've rebooted, power cycled everything. The sound from the Mac sounds completely distorted.

Running Yosemite 10.10.2, and was before the update as well, which worked fine.

I assume by "local playback zone" you mean via Control:Web in your browser?

Which browser are you using?

What bit rate are you using? (See: Settings, Local Playback Zone, Settings)

And (supplemental) - are you connecting wired or wireless?

Oh dear another problem seemingly related to Yosemite.

I think it is time for M to comment on the many issues reported.

My Explorer (original version) using Control:Mac no longer functions acceptably with Yosemite.

It is fine with Control:PC, but this situation is a P.I.T.A.

My problem has been reported to M directly on two occasions, also twice to Premium Partner.

I feel I am being ignored.

Maybe I am blind, but I don't see any bit rate option in Control:Mac.

BTW it seems to play fine through my Mac's built-in speakers but when I try to use my (admittedly older) Focal 2.1 system via USB, the sound is grossly distorted. If I adjust the format in the Audio Midi setup to 32kHz it is better, but 44 and 48kHz are grossly distorted. The Focal system works fine with iTunes. I am also using Yosemite and everything did seem to work fine prior to that. Very strange indeed.

If you find the application itself (ControlMac.app) in OS X finder then get info, try selecting the 'Prevent AppNap' option and see if that makes any difference.

Control:Mac, Local Output zone (I tried Built-in output and Display Audio output), wired. will have to check bitrate and play around with that tonight.

Perhaps the bit-rate option is not available on a Mac. I had assumed (bad I know) that Control:Web running on a Mac would be the same as running on a Windows PC.
