whether a C15 was a requirement of tidal integration. I am absolutely certain that this is not the case. It would be truly astounding if only C15s supported Tidal! Besides, AFAIK, the Sooloos Core code is the same in all Sooloos Cores...

Semi-(un)oficially M hoping now for 'early March' TIDAL integration into Sooloos!
Presumably new 90 day free trial will start then & not Monday?
Suppose that's still early 2015?

Linn are only offering 60 days...

It would appear that maybe 999,999 of the 1,000,001 ducks are now in a row!
Confirmation from three separate sources including Meridian staff at the Bristol show (elsewhere on this site), Martins staff themselves & the 90 day offer underway that Monday 2nd March would appear to be d-day.
If that's the case I will let M off as that date can still be called 'early 2015' by anyones definition.
Puzzled though as to why there's still nothing official on Ms website, Twitter or Facebook page? Maybe those last two are rather large ducks that are desperately trying not to get in line?

Just found this on the Meridian site Footnote on 3 month TIDAL trialCOMING SOON � TIDAL will soon be available via Meridian�s Sooloos digital media system. If you�re a Sooloos owner, we�ll let you know as soon as the update is ready. How now is soon though?

Hmm that's interesting, if you read the small print it states the following: That seems a bit off to me. Looks like the wife will be getting a Tidal account someday soon.

Some further thoughts though On the Meridian site this is one of the T&Cs: For the purposes of this promotion, the TIDAL upgrade to existing Sooloos platforms will be treated as a new Meridian product and therefore eligible for the promotion. and on the Martins site, this is Customers upgrading to Meridian Sooloos 2.2 (with TIDAL integration) will also be eligible for the promotion, subject to registration. Do these two T&Cs mean that exisiting Sooloos users can enjoy the upgrade to Sooloos 2.2 now, instead of waiting for M to advise us when it will be available? If so, it's a shame that preferential treatment appears to be being given to NEW customers, but exisitng ones can get involved only if we apply a work around as you suggested? Confused. Manchester

Further updates just keep coming...
Martins HiFi have just emailed to say that Sooloos 2.2 will be available in 10 days with a TIDAL update at the end of March(ish).
Just to clarify then that although Sooloos 2.2 is imminent It wont realistically have TIDAL integration built in until April. Presumably it will have some new features we can play with whilst we continue to wait for TIDAL?
I do think that it would nice for M to finally confirm some of this themselves instead of adopting the Malcolm Tucker leaks approach!

We expect to release a software update to Meridian Sooloos systems on Monday 2nd March. Following the release, users will receive a message on their systems via Control:10/15 or Control:PC/Mac informing them that the new version is available. This release incorporates maintenance changes and we advise all users to activate the update at a time convenient to them. Once successfully updated, the system will report the software version as �2.435� on its control interface (Control:10/15 or Control:PC/Mac).
Please Note: This release does not include integration of the Tidal streaming service. Tidal integration will be added in a separate update which we expect to release on Monday March 23rd. There you go straight from the horses mouth and earlier than thought previously! Excellent news, well done M!
