I checked earlier today... and it is indeed Feb 6th. Still in early 2015 afaik. wink

New technology. Game changer. 1,000,001 ducks to get in a row most of which will be in the hands of lawyers and not the folks at HQ.

By Apple's definition, 'early' could mean anything from January through April hence the 'early 2015' Apple Watch coming in april.

The waiting game could go on for a few more weeks...

A question to current Tidal users. Is it at least as good as a CD rip or do you experience differences (+ or -)?

I find it beter than Rhapsody & Spotify and that over an Apple TV. First impression is that it doesn't beat flacs, but that mught be more to do with the chain than the source.

However, I really like the Spotify connect feature, which Tidal lacks.

Yes, I think it's at least as good. Also, as there are many (well) remastered CDs up there, often, it sounds better than my aging CD rip collection.

Over Sonos Tidal sounds VERY close to my own CD's ripped... so close I can't make the judgement call reliably as to whether there's a qualitative difference. Until I hear Tidal over Sooloos I won't be able to judge that integration, but I'm very hopeful it will be even better, as the ripped CDs certainly are..

Is your collection deteriorating with age, or just your ears, a frightening thought whichever is the case.

Sooloos 2.2 Launched on Monday?

Meridian + Tidal has appeared on the TIDAL website for the first time.

Also this Martins HiFi

Looks promising. Watch this space!

Agreed this was posted some time ago and it's what led me to question whether a C15 was a requirement of tidal integration.

Oops! Sorry didn't see it before.

The plot thickens though as the news item from Martins HiFi has disappeared
