I was poking around the M website for support options/software upgrades for my recently purchased Explorer v1.

I recall reading here that the software/firmware for the Explorer is upgradeable.

I came across a link for "Explorer DAC Uploader v1.23" which is dated 15 January 2015.

Can someone please tell me what this update does?

It is the uploader program for installing firmware, have a look at this Explorer v1 firmware page if you download the firmware it contains the uploader already, just run it and follow the instructions, it will check the current version of the Explorer and offer the upgrade if appropriate.

Thanks Russ. I opened the file and it scanned my Explorer indicating that it has software/firmware V1349. I guess that's the latest version.
