HH's,

I'm preparing for arrival of my DSP7200SE units and DSP7200HCSE horizontal centre. For this centre a custom furnish/enclosure is made (sorry don't know the english word for it) which will fit the centre speaker by 1cm on sides and top. Of course the back is open as I read earlier so the bass can 'breathe'.

As I'm not sure if the dimensions are changes between non-SE and SE units: does anyone know if the dimensions as still the same?

Height: 295mm
Width: 1060.5mm
Depth: 478.25mm

Many thanks in advance!

Frans

Hi Frans

I don't see any reason for a change in dimensions, but I have no data to prove.

Enjoy lifting it!

Regards I

Hi Frans,

The SE and non-SE speakers versions of the speakers are the same size.

Enjoy!

Carl

Guys,

I forgot to ask; it doesn't contain any feet or bottom rubbers right?

I found squash balls cut in half to be very effective feet for a 7200HC. Yellow dot IIRC wink

My HCSE does have small rubber feet on it. From memory of say 4 or 5mm high but can check when home.

My 7200HC came also came with small self adhesive rubber feet, (5mm x 20mm Dia ish.) though I did not use them.

The OP needs something between the speaker and what it will be resting on, as it's not wise to put it directly onto a hard surface.

Carl

The OP may wish to consider using different height, possibly Sorbothane mounts for a centre speaker. Small at rear, larger at the front,

This approach allows projection elevation of the centre when the centre tweeter height is below the left and right speakers.

IMO a small improvement but worthwhile of consideration at little cost.
