Not sure if I'm reading the USB pass through bit right, but if it's a USB powered device, AQVox and iFi make good PSUs which normally get recommended.
If it's a straight PSU you're after, Teddy Pardo gets a lot of votes, I can personally vouch for Avondale Audio (not cheap but awesome), and Russ Andrews PowerPaks, although not linear, are extremely clean and sweet sounding IME. Lastly, Paul Hynes reputation is very good.
Without knowing any kind of reputation, e.g., on eBay, it's risky - a poor LPSU may well sound worse than the PSU which came with the director.

Now, a question. I found this device on eBay. Any thoughts about it? Power supplyPer, That was a question I asked last year but had no reply. I had this response from the supplier: Hi,
Thanks for the interest to our product!
As each standard of our PSU is divided into 2 versions, Regular & Signature Edition. Signature edition means all the parts will be upgraded in order to maximize the performance toward more AUDIOPHILE, e.g. Nuvotem Talema transformer, Furutech Gold plated IEC socket, Dale resistors, silver internal wiring etc. Also, the EMI filter will be installed as well. Of course, it's just an option by your necessary. The linear PSU deliver the improvements in terms of Deeper Bass, More Detail, Greater Soundstage & More Musical. Regular costs GBP58 while SE edition costs GBP120 (not included shipping) I look forward to hearing you soon. Best regards - av100_hk
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.
Purdeys, Moke, Leica, 'Blad. Only the best.

Per, Russ Andrews sell them new for the same price as the one on eBay. They're a Meridian dealer so would be able to confirm how it works (and possibly sounds) with the Director. They also have a money back guarantee on most products, so I'd choose them over eBay personally. Lovely people to deal with if you give them a call!

Addition of the Prime Power Supply made a tremendous difference to the USB DAC section of the Prime Headphone Amp (vs. using the supplied wall-wart switched-mode power supply). Given that a similar PSU is supplied with the Director, I think that good clean power can only help; but how much you should spend is a difficult question to answer!
