The latest version of the Meridian Sooloos software, version 2.2, will be on display, featuring integration with the TIDAL high-resolution streaming system.
Sooloos 2.2 also includes enhanced performance and improved iOS apps. At the same time, TIDAL will be launching their MQA streaming service, which will be presented in the suite. Looking forward to the Sooloos 2.2 rollout.

It looks like that MQA files also can be stored on the Sooloos system.
Also a weird thing i wrote is that the 808 and 818 will get lipsync ?

Looking forward to the Sooloos 2.2 rollout. Yes, really hoping it's not just adding Tidal, and some long-standing issues and features have been implemented this time.

A lot of very interesting information in those CES press releases. I note the literature for the C15 states: The Control:15 embodies all the functions of a Meridian Sooloos system in a single unit storage, playback & control and its MQA - ready. Simply add loudspeakers. This raises some questions for my senior non technical brain. Is the C15 refered to in the literature the same as the current issue, if not, will existing C15's be able to be upgraded to 'MQA - ready'? The statement also implys there is no need for a controller between the C15 and speakers so my question is if you are simply using a simple stereo music system without additional zones, why might you want a controller as I have been advised when the statement says you would have 'control'? I am very eager to see what the Tidal MQA catalogue will initial look like and wonder if Napster/Rhapsody will respond and join the MQA brigade. Hope my questions are not to dumb sounding.

Looking forward to the Sooloos 2.2 rollout. Confused - thought we were on 2. 406 now?

2.1 is the major release, 406 is the build. That it says 2.406 within the product is confusing in this regard.

It looks like that MQA files also can be stored on the Sooloos system. The storage shouldn't be an issue, but what I haven't seen is any mention of whether the Sooloos endpoints will be able to be upgraded to decode MQA files. I would have expected this to happen with at least the MS600.
