Hello everyone,
Meridian is pleased to announce the release of an update to our Sooloos iPhone app.
This update restores the original functionality of the app on devices running iOS 8. It will be available from the App Store by the end of today, Wednesday 10th December.
The only user-visible difference from the previous version running on iOS 7 and below is that the user interface has been updated to have the current iOS look and feel.
One thing to note is that the new version will only install on devices running iOS 8 and above. Users with devices running older versions of iOS will still be able to install the previous version of the app (which will work for them in that context). The App Store manages this version control automatically.

Unfortunately, the "now playing" cover image is distorted by the app. I would strongly suggest not changing the aspect ratio like this!

This is a happy day � glad to see it's back on the radar. Works fine.
As it's basically the same old app in functionality, of course there's ample room for improvement, and support for iPhone 6(+) screen sizes would be nice.
But for now, I'm overjoyed service has been restored. Great for quick access to music in different zones when the iPad is well eh... somewhere eh... else.

I saw this tweet from @MeridianAudio with a screenshot that doesn't look like the latest Sooloos app on my iPhone running iOS8. It looks like an iPad screenshot. Has anyone seen an updated iPad app for iOS8? Soundserge

I just figured it out. The Sooloos app (formerly made for the iPhone only) now also works �and looks different� on the iPad. The Core Control app is unchanged.
