Hi,

The Sooloos iPhone has always worked on the iPad (the iPad just scales it up in size), but few have used it that way since the advent of Meridian Core Control app for iPad.

Regards,
Carl

Yes. The difference is that now it looks and behaves almost like a native iPad app. There's no landscape mode but in portrait mode, the layout is different on the iPad than it is on the iPhone.

Yep. Looks to be a universal app now rather than iPhone emulated. Which is good if it is properly implemented and as I remembered as it's the only iOS app that did 'full screen' album art which is ineffective when run on the iPad.

ok, that's sounds cool ... I have it installed (on iPhone 4S, and iPad Air 2) here but can't check them out until I'm at home.

I just tried to load on my daughter's iPod running iOS 6.1.6. The Sooloos app will not load saying it is expecting iOS 8 - it is not auto selecting the older app.

Any suggestions for forcing the old app to load?

Thanks

John

I had a brief play with iPad version. Definately now a universal version so native iPad and iPhone screen sizes. The full screen app however unfortunately does not seem to be part of the iPad layout and as I believe previously mentioned, is seriously distored aspect ratio wise on my iPhone.
