Do yourselves a favour and enjoy.
Chris

For those who missed it BBC4 red button service, a house concert at the home of Beth neilsen Chapman organised and presented by Bob Harris featuring many great performances.
Two acts, Angel Snow, and Kim Richey have played The Little Rabbit Barn, so we are in very good company.
Info here

Enjoy, Chris

Hi Chris
The Red button is really Cool.
But there wasn't much of a crowd there. Great stuff but not the atmosphere of LRB.
A long way off still but Gretchen Peters will be awesome at The Stables.
Hector

Very true David, if anyone enjoyed that, come to the Little Rabbit. Barn, it's better.

It's nice to see the company some of our artists keep. No wonder the LRB reputation grows...

Chris

Here is something to get excited about, so good I have posted it twice as this really is recommended music by myself.....
Chris

For those who were there and those who missed it, we have a recording on DVD and CD of BHST live at The Little Rabbit Barn in the offing. DetailsHere

A very exciting step for the LRB treat yourselves Chris

Berkley Hart Selis Twang- Live DVD/CD
AVAILABLE SOON! Limited edition Live DVD/CD featuring Berkley Hart Selis Twang recorded live at Little Rabbit Barn on the final night of their 2014 UK Tour on Friday 25th July 2014.
We are now taking advanced expressions of interest via email to live@littlerabbitbarn.com. This is not binding but will reserve you a copy when launched. Yep we are rather chuffed to soon be offering this recording on behalf of San Diego's finest - Eve Selis, Marc Twang, Jeff Berkley and Calman Hart.
Both DVD and CD have been professionally remixed and mastered in high quality digital audio using the multi track recording from their live performance.

The DVD features the unedited full length performance, including all the witty banter, shot from three difference cameras with remixed digital audio.

The CD is a high quality recording, remixed and digitally mastered with the banter and intros removed.

Together these represent a highly desirable memento of one of the best performances we have seen since we started hosting live music at Little Rabbit Barn over 4 year ago and I would go further to say that it feature in my all time best gigs.

Each edition will be independently numbered and authenticated by Eve Selis enhancing its value and desirability for both fan and record collector.
We are suggesting a guide price of 15 + postage & packing to be advised. All proceeds less production & associated costs will be returned to Eve Selis and go towards their next record.

The recording has been professionally mixed and mastered by Jay Stapley at his new studio on West Mersea Island. Jay is a musician, writer, performer and producer being a first choice guitarist on the London music scene from the late seventies. He has worked with Roger Waters and Mike Oldfield and many others. Interestingly, Jay recorded and produced the original demos for a then unknown teenager turned recent multi AMA winner Sam Smith. Not a lot of people know that!

Do contact us if you need any more information.

Keep singing Chris
Eve Selis at the Stables was the seed that made LRB an institution on this forum.
Long may we benefit from the generosity and faith of Jonathan Rabett at LRB.
I am looking forward to seeing you on Jan 31.
Hector

In an effort to distract you all for a few minutes whilst we await the MQA reveal I present you with Pokey La Farge playing Central Time.

This is the kind of party you want to be at (at least I do) a brilliant live recording of some real good time music from the master of the art.

Let me know what you think of these clips, they play great through my system via Chromecast.

It's ALL about the music, Chris

Today's treat is Ian Emmerson playing the smallest ukulele in the world.

This is a masterpiece of comic musicianship to cheer away some winter blues.

Ian Emmerson

I Just had a go with John Grant with the BBC Phil Orch.

If you like Queen of Denmark and Pale Green Ghosts then this live set is a real treat. 10/10 on first listen.
