I agree, we should apply some "Parity Pressure" we are a group of very high quality potential customers after all. Chris

Yes, I'm definitely interested in principle, but I simply won't pay that

I'm also concerned about the Sterling pricing. Video and audio streaming so far has shown that 9.99 is pushing the envelope with 5 and 5.99 being the median. 19.99 was enough to immediately put me off Qobuz so Tidal would need to be offering some very special features to justify it for me.

 to $
Maybe this is a "Spring Tidal" price and respectfully suggest we need the "Neap Tidal" price to be enticed from the market Spot (ify) price.

This is very interesting news indeed. Integrating a new Hi-Rez streaming service into Sooloos makes good sense, through cost will be an issue.
It seems to me that this points to a firmware update for the Core and updates for the Core Control.
I wonder if Meridian will use this as an opportunity to add other new features?

I would be very surprised if Meridian added a new service without doing a software update.

You guys obviously missed the bombshell below. Read up and down from here:

Sooloos App revamp what would you like to see?

And if you want to follow up on general Sooloos development, please do it in that thread.

Hi Ludwig,

I did indeed miss the bombshell. I had looked at that discussion a few times but have not followed it page for page, so I missed the posts from Enno. Excellent news indeed!

My comment above was based on the announcement from Meridian that a new streaming service would be added to the system in the near future which most likely means a software update.
