Those who have installed the new version, can you now pick your favorite songs (star) from an album? Can you now delete unwanted/unused saved focuses?
No, you can't. The update's main purpose is the integration with vMSR (something I have not tested myself). Besides that, a change in behavior to the volume control and the icon to launch Safari with pre-defined URL, there is no new functionality.
It is however much more stable than previously. I've been using it for a week now without losing any buttons.
Am I right that when you launch your predefined website via the arrow icon, that for switching back to the Control App there is no other option than to use the iPad home button?

Yes that's worked for me since the original app was launched. Pity it doesn't stay on the browse page that you previously were at even with this new version, but you can't have everything
To me the app has been pretty stable if only quite slow at times. But the functionally/limitations to do some of the most basic tasks is quite maddening and incomprehensible. I only hope this is fully addressed in the near future.
