Hi,
I would like to add a DAB radio to my system. I know I can get radio via the Internet and Napster etc. but what I want to listen to is not broadcast over the Internet.
Can anyone suggest a good quality DB tuner - my setup is all silver so it would be good if I could also match the colour but obviously sq is most important.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
Regards Phil

Out of interest... what is on DAB that is not on web radio? Most sources I would expect do both these days.

You may be able to find a Rotel RT-11 on the used market.
DAB + silver faceplate + pretty good reputation for sonics and receptivity
Living room: 818v3, Parasound A23+, Maggie 1.6 A/V room: 861v8, DSP7200SE L/R/C, 4x DSP320 surrounds, ID41 + Roon, UHD722, Prime+PS

I have a Pure radio as in my sig through a 518. It sounds great and has been no trouble. Also it is silver. These are discontinued now but you may well find one pre owned. The display is dated, but I don't use it now it's set up anyway. Happy hunting, Chris
No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

Hi,
I have a Marantz NA-7004 Network Audio Player (there is a new model out). It has DAB and FM onboard as well as internet radio ( and a couple of extra digital inputs) and Apple airplay.
It's a nice unit and it's handy if you want the 'spare' inputs.
My unit is black but I think the new model (NA-8005?) is available in silver. Brian

Thanks for the suggestions..... I have an old TECHNICS ST-G90L CLASS AA Tuner AM/FM in the loft maybe I should dust this off and save my money for the limited use I need it for - It's not really going to matter too much for football - I'm sure I can hide it under or behind something Phil
