Using a 512 remote eye should work but you will need to use it in conjunction with a D5 lead as the 512 is fitted with a 240 DIN plug that is incompatible with the 180 DIN comms socket on DSP33s. Stephen, I'll be sending you a PM shortly as I just happen to have a spare 512 and D5 lead.

The iTache/VMSR+ should work in theory too, assuming the RS232 codes it sends are compatible with DSP33. They cost around 110 and you can get one from HH'er Rick at Audio Images. Advantage of the iTach is that volume and other settings should be displayed on your iPad, provided the DSP33 echoes back valid RS232 status code. If you're thinking of going down this route then I'd advise you check with Rick first.

I'm don't think an MS200 is viable other than as a replacement for the 602. MS200 has no inputs, apart from Sooloos, so you would have to connect it to both D1 and the Comms input on the DSP33 via something like a Reviver (available for approx' 115 from HH'er Robert W) and then connect the output from the 602 to D2 on the DSP33. I'm not sure how you would switch between the D1 and D2 inputs on the DSP33 though.

Cheers, Roger.

I can confirm the iTache works with DSP33s.

The MS200 ought to work with a Reviver, although one set of DSP33s this was the case but I couldn't get the setting right in the second set. Switching inputs is done with an MSR provided the speakers are properly set up.

If using the MS200, it simply connects to DSP speakers via a cheap comms dongle - DIY or about 10. If you want audio from MS200 too, there are a number of options that start from about 30.

MS200 has its own IR receiver, so can be controlled via Sooloos or from MSR which in turn will act as a controller for DSP speakers.

And therefore will allow you to select which digital input is active on the DSP33s.
