<snip>

Isn't it time that sort of talk stops and we start asking for proper accountability from M?
Well, as of this morning I'm still getting iOS 8 updates for some of my apps so M aren't on their own here.
I'd consider keeping your shirt on smile

Cheers

For those who have been justifiably complaining about Meridian "getting things wrong" regarding Sooloos over the past few months, the short story and long story of how Apple have basically screwed with their customers over the past week makes for some interesting reading.......and hopefully gives perspective to those who think that these kinds of issues are somehow unique to Meridian

In the situation outlined above, Apple has actually prevented access to Users' Files that they were collaborating on......imagine the reaction here if a Meridian 'bug' resulted in users losing access to their music files.....and essentially not being able to play them for 4 weeks??

Seriously? The company hasnt even launched 10.10 Yosemite yet!......so how can we install it??

Ultimately this suggests that we can no longer collaborate on this spreadsheet, at least not until Yosemite launches [in 4 weeks time]

When we tried to close the Numbers app on our Mac we got a spinning beachball. Necessitating a Force Quit.

If you have an issue with Apple, take it to the Apple boards.

Many of us have tens of thousands of dollars invested in our Sooloos systems and rightfully feel its incumbent on the supplier, M, to maintain their functionality.

Shame that you fail to understand that this is an Apple-caused issue that Meridian will now be obliged to fix

Having started this thread, I feel I should make it clear that I do not hold M responsible for the problem and I'm not particularly angry about it. It happens all the time. A fix will no doubt come.

A better iPhone app would be desirable, justifiable and welcome after this problem is fixed though.

I just read that iOS 8.0.1 has been released with some fixes (I didn't see a reference to the display issues that may be related to this problem).

It does appear that some folks are losing cellular service upon updating - caveat emptor! iOS 8.0.1

Cheers, Ian
