I came across this FAQ. It mentions:

"It�s a great tool to quickly retrieve great music that everyone knows. For example, making a Focus of �Arena Rock, Acid Rock, 70�s, Play Only Pick Tracks� will stay away from deep album tracks people don�t know and just play the hit tracks."

I've always wanted something like this, but I don't believe this is possible in the Core Control app, so I assume this FAQ is written about one of the Cxx devices.

Can someone confirm I'm not missing anything?

I think you could do that focus on Core Control. It allows focus on Genres and Pick Tracks, certainly!

Have you tried?

The only question in my mind is whether you can focus on more than one Genre simultaneously. Is "Arena Rock, Acid Rock, 70�s" one genre or three?...

Believe me I've tried. :-) It could be that I'm missing something obvious, but I only see Album Pick options, nothing to do with Track Picks. Here I'm looking under Album Info.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed the album/track subtlety.

I'll have a look once my son finishes playing his game. But I fear you're right.

I haven't tried it but I had assumed "Album Picks" played the "Picked" tracks on an album rather than the whole thing?

It may only play Picked albums, or even picked tracks within picked albums. Thoughts

Right, that's what I thought, but the FAQ I referenced seems to suggest otherwise. So this doesn't work on a Cxx either?

No, I checked on iPad and Cxx, same options I'm afraid.
