spinaltap Vogon Civil Servant Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 3,984 Likes: 202 England, UK	I've been surprised to discover a growing trend for people utilising CAT5 cables, with banana/spade connections, for their conventional loudspeakers. I had previously indicated (tougue-in-cheek) that I wanted the equivalent of Meridian SpeakerLink to pair my G95 with my Elegante speakers. My understanding is that Meridian SpeakerLink is effectively CAT7. I'm not being serious, but has anyone attempted - let alone heard of anyone else - using this method for connecting conventional loudspeakers to their power-amps?
