A simple tweak I would appreciate - the ability to cut and past eg lyrics, librettos etc using the iPad and importantly retain the formatting of the original. The current continuous text in the review area makes using it more widely impracticable.

Any chance of MS200 firmware that will allow the use of an M80/F80 remote? - like the DSP speakers can (especially useful for DSP3200/M6 owners using an MS200 as a controller)

Oops, so if it not difficult, is there another reason why I cannot turn off my DSP with Core Control or controlling application? This is question, not an argument.. =)

Whether it's difficult to do is a question that a developer would need to answer. I suspect it will be a future release feature as quite a few folks have expressed the desire for it over time.
In the mean time, there is the free app vMSR which, in concert with an IP2SL, will give you MSR functionality from your iPad.

My previous comment was slightly tongue-in-cheek, as the Source units are pre M and have no comms. For existing kit I'm sure that an off-option is possible.

If it hasn't already been suggested, is there any possibility for DSD file playback (which perhaps the core could convert to PCM)?
Not sure if it's technically possible, and I know Bob S will likely turn green and his head revolve around at the very thought, but whether it's an inferior format, or not, the fact is that desirable recordings have been and keep being released on it - in fact in some quarters it seems to be growing in popularity - so it would be nice to have an integrated way to play it.
