I would swap cables but the TV is on the wall and I would have to take it off to get at the plug. Bad design on the earlier Panasonic consumer models. If I have to I will but I'm not too enthusiastic about it.

Run the TiVo into one of the Oppo's HDMI inputs (rear if available to save the front one for streaming options (MHL?). Take the Oppo's 2 HDMI outs, one to the HD621 for High Rez and the other to the TV.

Nice idea about using the Oppo but I only have a 93 in that setup so only one HDMI out.

Jack,
I know it would be a PITA to try a different HDMI cable from HD621 to TV, but would it be to try a longer HDMI cable from Oppo to HD621?

Yes I could try playing around with cables but, as this is not my main TV set up, I think I will wait as I have a new Radiance on the way. I intend to put the new Radiance in my HT room and then move one of my older Radiances into this setup. Given the two HDMI outs on the Radiance, I will be able to put the Radiance before the HD621. Thus I do not have to run an HDMI cable out of the HD621. I am guessing that will work.

Hi,
I had a similar problem as well, and in my case even short cable won't work, the only thing I could do was replace my plasma and projector, I did email Meridian for help and they replied that they have never happened so far and they can't help.
These are the projector that won't work with HD621:
Panasonic AE1000, AE3000, AE4000
JVC HD1
Pioneer plasma 500M
To solve this problem, I finally changed to Samsung plasma and using the second HDMI out directly from the Bluray to the projector. I did test the picture that was going though the HD621, it was alot better for sure, so I will recommend you bring the HD621 to the shop and test before you pay.

Solved by using an HDMI booster. Strange though because it used to work with my Radiance XD and the same cable to the plasma. With the same set up but adding the HD621 after the Radiance (so no direct connection between the HD621 and plasma) it needs a signal booster for some reason between the Radiance out and the plasma...
