Yes there are a few ways. Get an AC12 or a Reviver box. (Look in the restaurant forum).

If you can get through to Steve (Syles) on this forum he can make a cheaper box that converts SL to coax SPDIF and comms out (master or slave) for connection to legacy DSP.

Wow... This is great... So when I use this Reviver, I should be able control the volume with MC200 Sooloos application, instead of using the fat remote, and the clock will be more in sync for possibly better sound?

I have never used one, Robert will be able to answer any of your questions either via PM on this forum or by emailing him from the Reviver website?

Hi Cujo

I use one of Steve Eyles dongles - its basically a budget version of the AC12 and Reviver, made of off the shelf components rather than custom housings and implementing one of the simpler balun reference designs.

Integration with non legacy speakers and MC200 is very good, but, in common with all solutions, not total. It will not offer zone standby function - a frustration of many - so you will need the fat old remote to put the speakers into standby. They will come out of standby without though.

I have my MC200 in my office and a two CAT6 STP cables (with an unshielded link through a wall) to my DSP5000's. You still will need audio/comms (Slave) cable between speakers. This scenario frees up the coax digital out of MC200 to feed a coax/optical converter for my F80. Not ideal as its all the same zone, but workable.

Another alternative is to use a standard digital audio lead and an RJ45/Din dongle for comms. This gives the same, but without the advantage of balanced audio and a nice all in one cable. Your dealer may have some of the dongles available - they are very easy to make.

Hmmmm... Back to original issue guys... I got good digital cable, and it is still not working.. What is worse, the test with Meridian cable also does not work.. Yellow still blinking...

The problem is that after I reboot the MC200, it plays well for about 1 minute, and then yellow light flash comes back again...

It is not a cable problem after all.. Maybe it is the MC200, but I am sure it didn't had any problem when I heard it in the shop with SimAudio 650D DAC.

Please help...!

Can you simply borrow a laptop/DVD player/Bluray player or anything with a SPDIF digital o/p?

You have to get to a definitive position as to where the issue is. Without another source it's hard to prove anything.

Was the MC200 new or used ?

Hi,

I was able to borrow a media device with coaxial output and finally did the testing. The DSP works just fine. Sounds Great!

Now it is clear that this MC200 has some issue. The MC200 was used, and in the shop it had no problem... I guess it becomes problem when I try to play with DSP.. Is this possible?

I tried testing the MC200 with my Denon reciever, but my Denon receiver just can't seem to play or MC200 is not working.

Your MC200 is probably outputting 96/24 unless you have restricted it. Can the Dennon play 96/24?

I believe my Denon can play 24/96, but I get nothing but a buzzz sound. I think I really need to re-check MC200 with the dealer...

The Denon may be able to play 24/96, but is unlikely to be able to accept 24/96 over SPDIF from the MC200. Try limiting the MC200's output to standard resolution output.

Probably best to go back to dealer but have you looked in Sooloos config Here
Check setting, reboot from there etc. just a thought.
