For me, ease of editing is the most needed. In a perfect world, I would want each disk taking up a line, sort of like an excel spread sheet view, with user defined columns, which I can sort by. Here I can identify incorrect titles, box set #, year, disk level ratings, meta data and other items at the disc level

Perhaps if one hovers their mouse over the title, then it will show the cover art.

Then one can click on each disk and the play list will drop down with info there. As I said, the columns could be custom and sorted by the user, but here again would show basic track title, time, sequence. One could edit all of this, add track level ratings, etc.

While I agree more function would be good with the iPad, I would hate to have editing functions limited with the intent of the iPad being the primary input for editing. That would just be terrible.

I look at the iPad as a control and not as an edit function, as it has its limitations.
