Kal, Have you tried any of the MSB transports? While the Vanity is nice, it's unlikely that Meridian would do something that doesn't have their proprietary connections. No but we have been talking. Yes, the Vanity is nice and I was pointing out that I do not think that there really is a need for Meridian to do anything like this.

I was pointing out that I do not think that there really isn't a need for Meridian to do anything like this. Kal, Your double negative in this sentence makes it read as if you do think M ought to be making a BD player. I'm guessing you actually meant the opposite? If so I'm with you on this. M would be too late to the party on this one I fear, given that 4k is round the corner. Better to focus on an upgrade to the HD621. How about one that incorporates cards that can be swapped in and out depending upon what inputs and outputs are required? A modern 562v, as it were, but with the ability of owners to introduce new connection interfaces without redundancy of the whole unit. This would allow switching between sources and displays/projectors. I suspect most people using this would also have a scaler, mind you, that would handle this aspect.
Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.
Purdeys, Moke, Leica, 'Blad. Only the best.

MConfig.
It doesn't really handle having a processor and an 808 in the same system.
I effectively run a 2 channel system using the 808. Then all my multichannel sources connect via the (HD621) G61R.
But the UI of MConfig doesn't let you actually make connections as they actually are. It's hardly a show stopper, but not intuitive either.
But lets face it, I'm nitpicking.
