Congratulations!

This is how it starts you'll be upgrading next.

The long and winding road to some DSP8000's

Good luck

Nooooo. Farewell house fund, hello Meridian.

Upgradeitis is terrible, I was happy living in ignorant bliss before. Already have an M wish-list: Trifield controller and a center for music? How about five more DSPs for the movies?

Current headphone setup is a DIY USB DAC (can't remember any details), DIY headphone amp M3, and either Beyerdynamic DT770 or Westone 4 (gotta be closed cans in the office).

I might take my DacMagic to work now it's no longer needed at home; it's a surprisingly good little box and quite Meridian-like in sound IMO. The DT770s were never really to my liking but for convenience get more use than the Westones.

I wonder whether an Explorer might suit your needs.
