I agree partly with (tongue in cheek) VK and Shankar. A 40 hour head start for Anniversary customers would have been a nice gesture. That said, 8xx and 8000 customers use to get the red carpet treatment, but I guess they are common place now.
Meridian owner since 1992 Prime & PSU, Focal Elear headphones, Roon (ROCK 8Gi5 NUC), Explorer 1 & 2, F80. 200/203, various Sonos (via Roon).
Not to overdo it, but in the last weeks I have received at least 3 emails asking me to upgrade to an SE, including one today.
Would it be that difficult to send an email either containing a download link or at least asking me to contact my dealer!
I guess we are spoilt by good service standards set by other service providers (my bank (yes!!), various online sites etc. And begin to measure the world by those standards.
Enough said.
Postscript: Heard from Des who wrote a nice email. Glad that Voice of HH is being heard!

There will be others, just know it won't be tops for long. Great that we keep seeing product development. Fortunately the products are great and we continue to benefit from upgrades as we've just seen.
We do get bitten sometimes when products get upgraded moments after you've bought them (818v1, 7200.2 etc) but it sort of comes with the territory. We're not buying for an investment but for great kit.
They do tend to look after you well over time, the interface isn't perfect as it depends on your PP. Mine does a good job.
Frode, my understanding is that there is no audible benefit from applying EBA to 3200s and 3300s as they aren't ported and are small. So there's no difference between supporting and not supporting.
