Thanks for the suggestions.. Tintin I went with your idea, but apparently a single diamond earring is not enough + you know my rooms are too small for 8000's + you are currently borrowing *my* 7200's!!

I do have a sub woofer in my setup (forgot too include it in my profile which I will update) - it is a lower end Velodyne CT120 that was given to me about 8 years a go. The sub is only used for films and does have an impact. My rooms do seem to have issues with boomy bass once the volume hits a certain level and tone. This is without the sub in use. I put this down to the 2 foot void under the floor.

I like the idea of the Sooloos - Is there an Android app for it yet? I guess there would be an improvement over the Squeezebox Touch (which I would keep for Spotify play back)

I have a dune media player which can play multi channel hi-res music so the HD621 does have some potential - although I don't have a huge amount of hi-res music yet. Hopefully the choice will improve with the advent of Pono.
