And those who have seen Gravity might appreciate the following joke... George Clooney is well known for dating multiple women who are always much younger than him The Hosts at the Golden Globes in January were Tina Fey ( Sarah Palin) and Amy Poehler... and in introducing Gravity as one of the best Film nominations, gave it the following description. Gravity... It's the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age.

Having only seen Gravity in 3D, I can say that it is in my experience the best I've seen of 3D yet, (better than Avatar). I flinched a number of times as debris flew towards me!!
Saying that, I usually see the 2D versions of films at the cinema. As I wear glasses and agree with Mark Kermode on the whole 2D v 3D issue.
