How do they sound?

Well its all relative isn't it, depends what you are used to and the environment in which they are being used. One thing is obvious in that they are compromised to a certain extent by the small size of my room and therefore do not sound as glorious as they did in their former keepers much larger room. That said I am very early into playing with positioning and still tweaking settings etc. I expect the Anti-mode RC to give me a much more representative picture of their potential in my room.

For now my impressions are that in comparison to the Event Opals I currently use, the 6ks are very smooth, a little less 'front row' (not that they are particularly) and definitely offer a more solid soundstage due to their greater range. In terms of sound stage and bass tightness the Opals have the edge, but of course the 6ks are not optimally set up yet and expect to squeeze a lot more from them in both those respects (which I think are connected to some extent).
