As the 'buyer', don't forget to report dodgy sellers to eBay as well - do a google search for:
eBay uk report non performing seller
There should be a link in the first few results
You specify the item number, the sellers id, a summary and any headers of any emails they sent (I had to write 'No comms at all' in the email fields)
Had to do this recently, got a reponse back from eBay, so someone looked at it - one benefit is if there is retaliation for bad feedback and an 'unpaid item' report is raised by the 'seller' after they refunded, you get an eBay report number you can send back to eBay to get rid of the problem. (according to the response I got anyway)
Matt.

I made an enquiry against the 566 listed on eBay. This is the response I got. The serial number is 566 100621.
I will only accept Paypal and am not prepared to accept collections, sorry.
More alarm bells ringing given they won't accept cash on collection.

OMG, when will eBay wake up and kick people like this out?
I've written to them 4 times now regarding my experience with this joker, and not even a response!

Probably better to leave him/her on eBay so everyone can see what they're dealing with. If you boot them out they can rejoin with a clean user name and no one will be any the wiser.
Caveat emptor, I'm afraid.

And so he continues, 4 disgruntled purchasers.
I can't believe people continue to bid with feedback as bad as that.
And on the same items! Very odd.

Possible Scam
Take care if this re-appears
808.5 on e-bay (upgraded from 808.3)
Seller davi.zelin from Belgium
Item ID 111439785256
Tried to contact the seller on the phone number listed to no avail.
This was on for a short period of time but now hopefully seems to have been removed.

Looked into this and it looks dodgy to me.
Tried the post code, it is a dealer but he has no knowledge of this sale and has contacted Audiogon.
Buyer Beware
Mods please move to Scam listings if appropriate

'No good deed goes unpunished' and 'when a deal sounds too good to be true...'
Sorry if I got anyone excited... thanks to those who did the diligence.
