Budget - unsure, depends on bang for buck. Happy to spend �10k ish overall, and okay with s/h looked after units. Would probably take it slowly and buy a pair of speakers first, and then add a HC and processor later - having started to read about Trifield, probably need to hear it first to see if it gives me the 3d soundstage I'm after.

I presume for Trifield you need 3 matched speakers? Does that mean that buying 6000s won't get me to Trifield, or could a 5200HC work in between?

I'll have to look at who the nearest Meridian partner is, dunno off the top of my head.
