Do you think SE editions will be offered as an upgrade Rick?

A great big Hurrah! from me for the reintroduction of the G55 (and the G57).

I had been contemplating a move to the Arcam AVR750 (and I had already privately auditioned the unit with a member of Arcam's own technical staff), but this changes everything.

Hi Tim,

I am expecting to see 'SE' upgrades available at some point, but certainly not for several months after the launch of the new models.

I was just told last week my DSP5200 was ready to be shipped from the UK so a bit disappointed my new speakers are already out dated before I even got them.

Hi Sparoz,

Your DSP5200's are not outdated - they are still a current model. Along with the DSP7200 and DSP8000.

The SE models are an addition to the DSP range of loudspeakers.

Kind regards,
Ian.

Hi Ian

Many thanks for clarifying much appreciated smile. Feel much better now, and can go back to sleep.

On the other hand Steve, if they are a standard finish and haven't actually shipped yet, perhaps it's worth getting in touch with your dealer?

Doesn't the Prime look good in white?

How will the Special editions be different from the anniversary model?

Presumably you're only talking about the 8k, as the anniversary iteration was restricted to that speaker.

It's a very interesting question...

I must admit, having only taken delivery of brand new 7200.2's, 5200HC and 861v8 less than two months ago, I'm not as excited as I would have been had I not.

Taking considerable time to work through many months with M as to what would be the best for me and making a considerable investment in new, I think I'd have appreciated a heads up or subtle suggestion to wait...

While being still blown away with my current set up, now knowing it's "2nd best" having just dropped so much cash does smart a little.

Actually left feeling a bit down from it!
