I may be wrong (and I apologise in advance if I am) but the DSP520 user manual is very thin and only mentions MSR once which is about enabling IR (which is what I followed to enable IR) I understand this may be different for some of the other DSP speakers but there are no other mentions of using an MSR to set up the DSP520...
