Speaking of G-Amp power, in the G55 manual, it suggests (if you need more power and a 7.1 setup) to use 2 G55 amps (6 channels bridged), so that you get 3 channels of 300W each for the front speakers,and four at 100W for the rear and side ones, or something similar...

I wonder what the difference in heat will be when you derive this much power from the G55 ....
