thanks for the phantom option - I was wondering what it was. However, this is in stereo only. The external decoder option in the Yamaha can be used for either a better signal processor or for a DVD-A/sacd 6 channel analog connection - That is what seems to be missing from the G68. It incorporates a similar digital connection for the G98 I think but not an analog one.

Or am I missing something?

BTW, don't missunderstand my comments - I am new with the Meridian way of life, and am trying to figure out the best way to make it work
