Great review thanks VK. Can't help thinking it may have been better to give it to a headphone user to get a more relative experience.
I was amazed by the sound of an old valve X Cans amp and Sennheiser 650s from an 818, much more to the sound than the big rig. However, like so many others, it just didn't get used and got moved on.
Headphones are great but I can't help thinking you either use them or you don't.

Good review, well done. Great to see the collaboration with the mothership is leading to interesting events like this has been. It will be great if we have more of the same over time. This kind of review, by the fans who are not afraid to criticise, has a special integrity about it. It is very brave of Meridian to do this and I am sure widely appreciated. Cheers, Chris
No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

Thanks Chris,
You would not believe how much effort has been put in on both sides over the last year to facilitate this level of collaboration.
Here's to more to come.

Carl

Brilliant review, well done! Well one is on my wish list... After a DSP upgrade Secretly hoping that if sales go well M might consider a higher end model with balanced inputs, though.

A very impressive piece of work VK. You deserve the HiFi reviewer's highest accolades.
Also, very encouraging to learn about the collaboration between Meridian & HH; it's promises to pave the way for a very rosy future for all of us. Thanks to all those involved at the coalface on our behalf.
