Can we infer this? Might it be as likely that, in conjunction with major card changes (move to XMOS), M simply chose that opportunity to create a v6 MMHR input card which was incompatible with the v4? It's a moot point whether my v4 has 6 or 8 channel input capability, but I'm not sure that we know either way.
