When you say missing buttons, do you mean missing buttons or missing backgrounds/surrounds? I mean missing buttons. I have no way to Pause, Fwd, Back, Mute, Inr/Decr Volume. This is what I see: ![[Linked Image from dl.dropboxusercontent.com]](https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/36076280/no-controls.png)

Hi, I have an iPad 3 running iOS 7.0.2 and Core Control v2.103 (911d32b) and can see the buttons that are missing in your screen shot. However, it could be I just don't use it for long enough to see the problems (I have a C15). Can you check what versions you are running. If you have older versions update, if latest then try removing, rebooting and then reinstalling Core Control. Is anyone else seeing these issues? Hi, As I mentioned earlier in this thread, my listening sessions will start out with Core Control behaving as expected but then after a while buttons will disappear. The only way to bring them back is by closing and restarting the Core Control app. I, too am running v2.103. Today I am going to upgrade to iOS 7.0.2 and do more testing.

Carl
The buttons are normally fine. But I often toggle between the Queue screen and Browse. At some point, and it varies when, but the button just suddenly disappear.
The same with the search drop-down. After a bit of use, the drop down is blank and the keyboard that would normally pop. doesn't.

Hi Greg, what versions are you running?
I'm just wondering if 7.0.2 helps.

I am running 7.0.2, but I havent been heavily using my system the last couple of weeks so maybe it has been fixed.
I'll keep an eye on it and see if it happens again.
Cheers Greg

I've been running iOS 7.02 for a few days now. Core Control seems to behave better on this version of the OS. But, I do still have the disappearing button problem on occasion. For example, this just happened: Note how the area where the Play All Tracks and Play Pick Tracks buttons normally are is replaced by a black square.

It looks like the app is not fully loaded that page, is you're wifi ok? Have you tried shutting down core control fully and restarting (the double click thing) Thoughts, Chris

It looks like the app is not fully loaded that page, is you're wifi ok? Have you tried shutting down core control fully and restarting (the double click thing) Wifi is fine. I know it looks like the "page" is not fully loaded, but I don't think that's how the Core Control app works. Unlike the web client, whose UI elements are served up by the server, the Core Control app UI elements (I suspect) are already on the iPad. What comes from the server is the text that makes up the track listing, credits, etc. as well as the album art. You may have noticed that the album art is always the last element to load on the album detail page and as you can see it's all here. With the app in this state I can switch views to Browse and Queue and even play another track by choosing Play Track Now from the pop up dialog. So the app (sort of) still works, the music is still playing. I just can't hit Next track or decrease volume, etc. The one thing that will crash the app once I am in this state is trying to adjust anything about the Focus. As for your suggestion to shut down and restart the Core Control app, that's what I've been doing to get back to a normal state. Like I said, this behavior occurs much less frequently now, but it's still here with iOS 7.02. I've reported all this to M support and will continue experimenting.

I haven't come across any issues yet with iOS7. I always use my iPad in the vertical mode. Is it possible that those of you with disappearing buttons always use the iPad in the horizontal mode as shown in some of the photos above?

Is it possible that those of you with disappearing buttons always use the iPad in the horizontal mode as shown in some of the photos above? I was *just* thinking this morning, I wonder what would happen if I flip the iPad to vertical when the buttons are gone? Will they be re-rendered? I'll be sure to try that next time. Have you run into a situation where the search dialog doesn't let you enter anything? This happens to me on iOS 7.0.2 as well: ![[Linked Image from dl.dropboxusercontent.com]](https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/36076280/no-search-702.jpg)
