Amazing system (I particularly like the Porche on top of the HD621!)

Have you tried the speakers (and equipment) without the marble plinths? You might get a different sound so it's worth a try. You may or may not like the difference. If you do, you could try something like oak cones direct on the wooden floor and racks, and see if you hear a nice difference (Russ Andrews sell good ones if you want to try).

Enjoy (I'm sure you are)!

Thanks for the feedback.

Have had the speakers directly on the floor, gives them a more softer bass. There is more accurate bass now, which I think is good.

I have to do something with placement of center speaker, when playing loud it gets some vibration in shelving system.

I have not tried with oak surface under the spikes, I will try that later.

I'm still as happy with the system, I was after a pair Cognaccer on Friday. smile

Haha, if you're not happy with that system, I'd have your ears checked wink

Cool, give 'em a try!

Here are photos of my recently completed music and cinema room. No doubt the upgrade bug will hit me in due course but right now I'm very happy with the sound from my new DSP's.

This is my room.
I installed everything myself, this picture was taken before I installed the bass traps. The sound after I installed the traps was a phenomenal change. It is by FAR the best $$$ spent on the system to date. I plan to install diffusion at a later date to widen the sound field.

I have also since this picture installed all the cables out of site and relocated the sub behind the sofa slightly toward the right.

Its a room in my basement. All walls are concrete and I'm pretty lucky not to have major resonance issues.

All the equipment is located in the room next door so I cant hear it or have to look at it. The only REAL pain in the butt is having to go next door and "blind" operate the BD menus..... really annoying. I somehow need to figure out a solution for that.

NoWayMan,

I bet that sounds awesome with those room treatments, they are the most important element in any setup. I would love to treat my room that thoroughly.

Can I ask where did you place the 244's and where did you place the tri traps?
