Just wondered if there were any bugs becoming apparent or if the iPad app was completely stable with iOS7.

Seems fine with only very minor cosmetic issue noticed so far.

But I assume that they have not recompiled for iOS7 compiler/SDK yet. That's bound to break something crazy

If everything works, do they have to do that anyway? (Genuine question.)

Depends if they ever need to update the app and test in/on an iOS 7 environment/device or not.

You cannot load an app for development testing into an iOS 7 simulator or physical device without the latest compiler/SDK.

I'm not sure, but I believe that compatibility testing with latest (current) version of iOS is a requirement for acceptance into App Store.

So its kind of necessary that the latest compiler/SDK is used to keep an app up to date.

There are some fundamental screen layout differences with latest compiler/SDK and I think transition to 64 bit in 5S (and I assume next gen iPads) will reveal a few currently masked issues.

No problems with gen 4 iPad either. I'm sure there will be minor bug fixes over the next few weeks. Apple have already got at least 2 more beats out on test with staff and there was an iPhone 5s update on launch day.

I'm using a gen 4 iPad with iOS 7 and I've noticed that the Play/Pause and Fwd/Back controls bottom left and the volume controls bottom right disappear after a while. Looks like this happens after I've switched to another application temporarily. The Core Control app still has the play queue, the Focus I had set and is tracking with whatever track is playing.

I have not experienced this before with iOS 6 on the same iPad. Is anyone else seeing this?

I upgraded to iOS7 and I could swear that Core Control is now slower than before.
Of course it may be my imagination since I have not empirical proof.
Best regards
/Marcus

I find scrolling through screens in the Sooloos iPad app noticeably laggy. But I prefer the new os. I am on iPad 2.

I am probably going to get the iPad 5, depending on the spec.
Cheers
Greg
