I have found that if a disc doesn't rip completely (all tracks) then the metadata popup doesn't appear. Fix the problem and complete the rip and up it comes.

That's probably because the files don't match the RAW CD TOC...as a guess.

Normally when the ripping process starts the window pops up after two or three tracks have been ripped.

Everything seems to be working OK for me, except there seems to be no way in dBpa to make tracks 'picks', so I still have to do this separately in Control:PC. This means I'm still not really spending less time ripping, apart from that album art is easier to find. Any way to do this, please?

Guys,

I've been using the new dBpa plugin for a while and it's been working very well.

Just ripped a CD and the AMG plugin didn't pop open as normal (usually pops up after the first track). It's now finished ripping and no popup. I've checked and the option is still checked in the Meridian plugin.

Any idea what's going on here? I have no idea which version of the Metadata has been encoded now?

Did it not find the CD in AMG?

Ah, possibly not? TBH without ripping again I don't recall, if that would produce that condition, it's likely as I just ripped another CD and the popup is back...

Arrh, now it's doing it again! This time I'm fairly sure the CD is in AMG, although I'll double check in a moment...

What's going on, it's worked perfectly up to now?

Hm, the same CD that first threw the above behavior is causing me problems in another way -

After ripping, I looked in the folder where I'm saving the files and it had created about 14 different 'artist' folders. It's a compilation album, but I had 'various artists' in the Artist and Album Artist field in dBpa. I had used track-level artists on the tracks themselves for different composers, but why would this override the album level 'various artists' tags?
