To be honest with you, Meridian has finite resources and I would venture to say that all of their resources have been thrown into G products.
Based on the fact that you have a beta release of new firmware for 568.2 I think it's safe to say that they have at least some resources freed up to work on other items on the list now.

I have no idea but this new version is very stable in my setup so far. It shouldn't be long.
