I think it is rediculous that they must submit every change to software thru approvals. I think it is an excuse. Your right...I've never used THX. Maybe if you have a cheap system that is overly bright then the roll off may tame the grit. That's about the only time I can think of using it. Then it just sounds like a dull gritty top end! Haha!
