I personally do not use a THX preset, as the attuation of high frequencys is not good i think. Will the THX mark add value to a Merdian product ? If so, why are the amps not THX approved ? They certainly are good enough for that, but they do not have it ? I always though THX signs are woth not much, only tell you the product is capable of doing a minimum set of rules.
