Nick (npj) for his conversation, hospitality, musical enthusiasm and an immaculate MS600 - Thanks

Plasmatico!

Extremely positive experience with Manuel trading a pair of 6K's and $ for his pair of 8K's. They are better than described and appear like showroom condition. Expertly packaged in original containers (also very well kept) for transportation off the island.

Manuel is very trustworthy, and knowledgeable about Meridian and willing to share his knowledge and experience. He helped me get a better deal and coordinated transportation to and from Puerto Rico.

I would not hesitate purchasing from Manuel, and would be now considering the 5500HC he has available if I did not already have one.

Please feel free to PM me if you have any reservations dealing with him.

I feel very fortunate he has decided to support two systems and has offered to purchase these 8K's back if ever I am willing to let them go. I doubt that will ever happen as I have been working towards this day for a decade!

Walter

Sold a pair of DSP5200's to Andy Leigh, not sure of his HH name? Anyway, really nice chap, we had a couple of hours drinking coffee and listening to some varied music, straightforward transaction, Andy I hope you are as happy with them as I was?
I would not hesitate to deal with him in the future.

Cheers

Russ

I bought a rack-mount TwinStore from dpstjp, and he was a pleasure to do business with. Not only is it a great piece of kit, but he was willing to courier it all the way across the planet to us poor benighted Meridian-deprived souls in the Antipodes, which is a fair bit of effort.

Luckily the NZ cricket team botched up the test match and gave us something to talk about while the courier companies (ParcelForce) and NZ Customs took their own sweet time getting it to my doorstep ... three working days from the UK to Auckland, two weeks from Auckland to Wellington - none of which was the fault of dpstjp.

Thanks again - my Sooloos system is now that much happier!

Kent,

It was a pleasure dealing with you. I'm glad it's finally arrived.

Only another month before both sides square up at Lord's.

I see my beloved Yorkshire are celebrating a return the the 1st division by collapsing to 91-7 though...

I recently bought a lovely G68ADV from the esteemed VirusKiller, and he was an utter gentleman to deal with ... but you guys knew that already. smile

He went to an inordinate amount of trouble to package and ship internationally, and by the time I'd processed the telegraphic transfer he still came up 90p short. Oops.

By the way, I've been amazed by the generosity HHers have displayed in being prepared to ship equipment most of the way across the world, based solely on the trust that this forum engenders - Dolf, Tintin, dpstjp, VK - thank you all for your assistance, and the truly impressive sounds that now flow in our household. If any of you ever find yourselves in the Antipodes, there's a beer (or perhaps an NZ sauvignon blanc) with your name on it.
