You will. Not sure how you'll hook it up though with the Reviver and MS600 in situ. What functions are you hoping to access using virtualMSR that can't be done using the iPad Sooloos app?

Sooloos, Roon, G series (with LPS upgrade), 800 series (with LPS upgrade), HD621, AC200, Prime and PS, DSPs old and new.

This is really awesome (hey, it's the little things in life)! Always wanted to have status on my remote - got that, sort of, with Core Control and with my, now incompatible, UT2; but really looking forward to the arrival of the IP gizmo.

BTW, if anyone this side of the Atlantic wants my UT2 gratis, just let me know (never could get it to work with the 861v6 though).

Standby and the various speaker settings. I'm not sure I need the Reviver hooked up to the RS232 port either.

Has your Reviver got Meridian Comms and RS232 as well as SPDIF?

I would try just Meridian Comms, and plug the IP2L to the RS232 of your D6ks.

Yep, it has all three. I'm not sure what function the RS232 is doing.

For normal operation the RS232 connection on the Reviver can be left disconnected. For DSPs it is typically only used to load new firmware.

Carl

Does virtualMSR support the custom URL scheme for launching an app? This would be useful for launching it from an iRule button.

Cheers,
David.

Here's a question, I have 2 Meridian systems, not connected in my houose. Will the virtualMSR work with 2 IP2SLs in the house?

Thanks,

John

Another question... I suppose I'll find this out next week when the IP2SL arrives, but does the virtualMSR support shifted commands, pressing two buttons at a time?

Excellent.
Of course we want customizable keys -- I assume there is no way you can pick up the softens as set in the Configuration program...?

But also, please make the Function shifted keys show what they do. I have found no documentation anywhere, did trial and error, and then I have to remember...

I like it a lot, but I find I use very little of it, just like with the real MSR. The number keys work only with M players, I have an Oppo. Same with the play keys, would be somewhat useful if they controlled Sooloos, but not really as we have the much richer controller. DSP is annoying, as I just discussed in a separate thread.

Again, not your fault. The world has moved on. Still very useful for some things.
