Thanks Russ, figured it would be the same for the IP2SL, but never hurts to inquire.

Rick,

What a wonderful tool! I can rid myself of a bunch of Crestron products and associated software because of this great software! I've ordered an IP2SL, but the WF2SL would be more convenient for me. Is there a thought to make this compatible at some time?

Also, I would also love to be able to give the device buttons custom labels, so I eagerly await this update!

One more question... How about making it work in portrait mode? How about an iPhone version? (I know you're regretting ever doing it by now - LOL)

Lastly, I would have been happy to pay a fee for this app, as would many users, I'm sure. Is there somewhere we can send our thanks in the form of a modest donation?

Thanks,

John

It works very good. Just connecting the IP2SL. Your iPad finds it. I work with a fixed IP-reservation.
Thanks Rick.

Great!
Will this work as well if directly connected to DSP5200 speakers?

regards

Good question, I can't see why not, the M serial protocol is pretty consistent.

In my 2 channel system I have a Cat6 running from my MS600 to a Reviver which is hooked up the the master 6k including the RS232 port. Would this setup take the place of the IP2SL? Also, does this app allow the MSR+ functions that require holding the Function key down? I'd try it but my 6k panels are out having the caps replaced.

Hi Arnold,

Yes it should work fine direct to DSP5200. If yours are SpeakerLink ones then you'll need an RS232 to SpeakerLink adaptor though to make the connection.

Also turn off the 'Managed Comms' setting in the vMSR app.

Hi Ken,

Yes indeed, the function key is a toggle, so press it once and some of the buttons which have their function changed will glow blue. Press function again and the blue glow disappears from those buttons and they return to their normal operation.

Very useful for accessing your DSP parameters on an 861 or G68.

Thanks Rick. See my post above -- "do I still need the IP2SL if I'm using a Reviver?".
