I just noticed a related problem -- it's not picking up Mood info for some reason, even when it correctly identifies the album and all other metadata is correct. I went to Allmusic Guide and found the albums, and the Mood data is there (pretty sure M is using that data from AMG). Had to enter by hand. Odd.
+1
Being a new MDMS user, I'm currently importing all of my collection and so far none have had data in the Mood field.

I'm referring to what I was told by a friend at Rovi. I complained that a certain CD of mine was not listed on the web page, he countered that it was indeed in their database, and then gave the explanation I referred to.
However, by 'our database' I guess he could have meant an internal one rather than the licensee-facing one.
The discrepancy may well have been fixed around the time of the new website, when there were internal changes. He mentioned for example the problem of Classical albums which have Pop codes not being correctable until the new website and attendant database changes.
Ah okay. When Rovi acquired(?) AMG, it had to tie AMG (e.g.) album IDs to Rovi IDs. AMG treated classical and non-classical albums differently and, if you do a query on a Rovi album, you get (typically) three IDs, the Rovi album ID, the AMG ID and the AMG classical ID, and one of the latter two will be null.

I have noticed mood data has not been imported recently. This was not always the case but seems a recent thing. I have been adding it manually for now and hope its just a software bug somewhere. Chris

No 18 in the Hall of fame I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best: GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone
Just to confirm, you have tried removing Control:Mac and then re-installing by browsing to the MC200's IP address, then downloading Control:Mac from there? What Mac OSX version are you running.
Running current OSX 10.8.2 on Macs, and Win 7 on the PC laptop.
Rick installed the Control:PC for me when setting up the MC200, I just tried your suggestion of re-installing Control:Mac just to make sure and this is the screen that I get.
