My display is in another room, so, I can't see it anyway when listening. When I need/want to know, I look at the OSD info. It tells me DD, DTS, 5.1, MLP, PCM etc etc.
The only drawback is switching the screen on sometimes to do so.

OK, I've just had a bit of a play - boy these things are riddled with bugs!! (Meridian coming next week, so i'll report more then.)
But, I've noticed that I do get a logo. The Dolby DD and DTS logo. Each shows whether it's 2.x or 5.x channel.
I've just watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (R2) and when selecting the DTS stream on the MSR+, the audio switches to DTS for a split second and then reverts to DD.
If I use the soft keys to select DTS, it plays fine.
Any ideas? has anyone got this disk to check their playback on DTS?

If I use the soft keys to select DTS, it plays fine. Do the other DVD functions work from the MSR+. Could it be that you have 2 controllers and that the MSR+ input is being processed twice. A bit like key bounce - if you press down arrow on menu, it only move by 1 item, not 2? -Ian

it does seem sporadic.
when both are off, and I press clear though, the G98 is not. conn, and the G68 is conn.
