Interesting he mentions the problems caused by ports. Perhaps that's why they started with the 7200 - their largest ported speaker.

Isn't that an MS600 it's sat next to?

No it's an MD600. There are some black boxes behind the C15 but I can't make out what they are. Could one be an MS200?

The black boxes:
#1 C15 PSU #2 Network Router.
If they are using a MS200 it is most likey behind the left hand DSP7200.

"They" didn't mention anything. Rick asked for input because they are working on something. As I recall that's as far as it went. We all hoped for it for Christmas but I'd rather it was right and in their own time. Does this mean, I should wait a little longer? Those Audioengine 2's with a Wireless DAC seems AWFULLY tempting right now. I know it's not the same, but...

Hello, I have a question concerning the speaker upgrade. Will you have to upgrade your 861v6 and also the 808.3 to reap the benifits of the new hardware/software upgrade, or can you do your speakers then at a later date move on to the both units? Greg

The DSP7200v2 will improve with all sources, but to enable the height parameter with the DSP7200HC you'll need v8.0 861 firmware.

Just watching the video of the 7200 demo and Bob Stuart says This is about to play 192/24 (2.51 through the video). I guess it's down sampled. Out of interest, if M believe 192/24 files can sound worse than 96/24, why use it in a demo? I guess because it was handy. M says about analog 192KHz vs digital out 96KHz "but the quality through a passive system is, as you know, inferior so listening to 192KHz is actually a technically worse experience than digital at 96KHz." Rick, Mr. Stuart was demoing a HDTrack 192/24 bit file, are the new upgrades and tweeters able to give 192KHz (96KHz) not the old 44KHz (22kHz). Also does this reflect an update with MDS/Sooloos giving us 192 not downs sampled to 96, since they now are going for cat 7 SpeakerLinks not cat 5? Pers
