Doesn't it start tomorrow? I'm hoping for dates on upgrade availability.

I think it's press day, Intel and Samsung are making announcements, there are blogs running.

(that'll be many thousands more finding out their gear is out of date now.)

No 18 in the Hall of fame smile I have simple tastes; I am content to settle for the best:
GIK monster bass panels, rear wall. QNAP TVS 471i3. Roon into DSP5200SE via 210/ 218 zone... Explorer 2. Bluesound Pulse 2, Mini & Flex. 596v1, 518, Foxsat HD, Sony BDP, Pioneer 5090, 2 Chromecast's for LRB videos. MS200 to F80 for a Roon zone

Yes, is a press day with, historically, quite a lot of aanouncements. Vegas is western side of US, so time change means most of the announcments come late in the day/next morning for UK.

Wasn't that link the same thing they announced at CEDIA?

Nothing new to me. Where's a replacement M80 is what I'm concerned about.

Interesting looks like the original DSP630 has become a DSP640 with the addition of a second tweeter. According to the press release the DSP640 in-wall is on show at CES so hopefully it will get confirmed of the change. Anyway here are the releases.

Meridian Audio Announces Series of Powerful Performance Upgrades

They've also put some photos and datasheets (in-walls, DSP7k2m 818v2, 808v5 and 861v8) up as part of their general CES 2013 releases.

Has the DSP630 become the 640?

Brochure states 630, Datasheet states DSP640.

Like Tom stated it's a different speaker, with a 2nd fullrange driver.

Also looks like the DSW500 is replacing the DSW600.

Compare these two documents:
